I’m selling my house in Woodstock, Georgia near Atlanta. The neighborhood is part of the Towne Lake master planned community. The house is in an awesome swim-tennis-golf community with three large pools, 14 gorgeous tennis courts, and a beautiful golf course. The community is full of old-growth trees and is just stunning.

The house has four bedrooms with two and a half baths. The awesome part is the four car garage that is a car lovers dream. The lot wooded and is very private for a corner lot. Much of the house has been updated and has a great open layout that is perfect for entertaining.

Very nice house. Unbeleivable what you can get elsewhere in the country. That house would easily be double the price in my neighborhood.

Your RE listing reads 3 car garage. Fix that and tack on another 50K!

I'm with patgilm, even with the depressed market that money would buy a 1 bedroom condo in the DC area.

thanks. the realtor put 3 car in an effort to take credit for the additional bay as basement space.

Reminds me of that show, "WHAT YOU GET FOR THE MONEY" on TLC I believe. It is amazing to see what you can purchase in other parts of the county. Beauti ful home!

thanks guys. the house really is great, but the neighborhood truely makes it awesome. the area is beautiful. the garage is almost a dream come true.

I'm really sad to have to leave it, but better jobs await in Dayton. the plan for the next house is to custom build. I'm planning a 2-car attached plus a 2+ car detached with lifts, work space, etc.

Geez, try quadruple in our area. Most 4 bedrooms are 700k + and 3+ garages and nice area etc, that home would be 1.2 million here easyily. We get ***** in California.

Wow...I have to get out of NJ.

In my town, a townhouse with no yard(I mean 0 yard) 1 car garage. Would be $425k, and about $10k a year in taxes...

The house in that picture would easily be $500k, and $14k in taxes...

Un real..

That is $150k LESS than my 2 bedroom condo!!!! :aargh::aargh::aargh::aargh::crying::crying:


That house in my area would be $700k+

Nice house! Good luck with the sale. I guess I'll be the lone response that says the price you're asking would fit in about right around here, although I didn't see the sq. footage or lot size, briefly looking at the ad. We never did get caught up in the real estate bubble here.

I live in Suffolk, VA, which is near Norfolk/Chesapeake/VA Beach, and I just bought a 3/2.5 with a TIGHT 1-car garage for $240k! That is just wrong!

Moving to Colorado was a shock for me, housing is CHEEP out here compared to chicago but people dont make as much as in chicago either... its all relative

Wrong on the relative issue.

So Vail and Aspen are CHEAP?

If housing is so cheap then why are you going to park your newly purchased Viper outside? Why not buy a cheap house with a garage? :)

taxes are $2300/year

HOA fees (including 3 pools, 14 perfect tennis courts, 2 parks, etc.) are $650/year.
