The man to see is Ted May. He has his own shop and works with a local dealership. Great service, great guy, and honest. He's done all the service to my Viper. More importantly I have him work on the Durango that my wife and daughter ride around in.

BTW, you should also try to come to the monthly meeting. Its a great place to meet other owners and you can ask other about their experiences. I think we meet next Tuesday. Check the events section for information....

I fully concur with the other John. Ted May is probably the best mechanic I have ever dealt with. He is honest and good at what he does. Last night I faxed him long list of "fix-its" I am going to have him do for my Mustang 5.0L. I would trust him with anything I had.

Not much else I can add, Ted and Rich are the men when it comes to Vipers. Rich takes care of my snake like it was his own. Ted is usually at the driving events and is always willing to lend a hand with any help you need trackside.

The only thing people left out is that if you need warranty work done, Ted still works one day a week at Stevens Creek Dodge in San Jose (can't remember which day).

And come to the meeting next week! The club is a great aspect of Viper ownership, great cars, great people!.

You can find more info at http://www.viperclub.org/norcal

Ted has been a big help fixing a few things on my modified, used 97 that I bought a couple of months ago(springs, ebrake...). Be prepared to spend some extra time - he will go over your car with you and will answer pretty much anything. Definitely not a "dealer" drop-off experience.
