I don't think there is a match, but either Chuck Tator or JonB should know for sure. Check your PM.Does the viper share a fuel pump with any other car? need a fuel pump for a 1993 RT10.
I rebuilt my tranny. The shop saved me a bunch of money on the gears by getting parts for a T56 Camaro transmission. Same parts at a much lower cost. Been driving it hard with no problems.

Yeah. I've asked for it in the past. But only group buys and "new color" polls seem to have that exalted status. This is a valuable thread and should be pinned to the top.
Does anyone know if there is any other vehicle that uses any of these parts that would work on my Gen 1 (1994)
Front spindle / knuckle
blower motor housing
oil cooler
That's just a start. I just bought a '94 that got punched in the nose. If anyone has any suggestions or extra parts lying around (drivers headlight?) Let me know.

I just replaced my power steering cap with one from a PT Cruiser. The guy at NAPA hooked me up.
clutch through out bearing is the same as a older ford truck im pretty sure but I know its the same as something because we had one laying around the shop I used
Not sure where I got this list from or how valid but here goes:
1. Power steering pump
- 97-02 Viper part# 4642153
- 93-96 Jeep part# 52088139AC
2. idler pulley for serp belt is off of a jeep
3. wiper motors are off of rear caravan
4. glove compartment door latch for Gen 1 Vipers(RT/10's). The part is the same as '91 - '95 Dodge Caravan, Plymouth Voyger, and Chrysler T/C
5. Viper A/C Vents are the exact same as the Jeep Liberty
6. Air box clips for gen 1 at least, are chevy part nr. 25043286 $2 each
7. RT/10 Outside mirrors are the same as a Dodge Stealth
8. The Viper inner tie rod ends (not talking about outer tie rod ends) are the same as a Dakota
9. Rear caliper piston dust boots are from an Eagle Premier
10. Lower pressed-in ball joints are part number 4848 174. Upper ball joints are the common Ram van/pickup piece
11. Whole steering rack assembly and tie-rods/ends are the same from the 97-99' 2wd dakotas
12. The $80 Viper skip shift eliminator plug is the same as the $29 Chevy "version."
13. Headlight switch is European Ford.
14. the electric switch for the mirrors(gen I II) are the same as '97 grand cheerokee.

16. Steering column is a Dynasty part.
17. Foglamps are Audi.
18. HVAC controls, Ford. Same as '03 Mustang, '05 Excursion.
If anyone can confirm the Whole steering rack assembly and tie-rods/ends are the same from the 97-99' 2wd dakotas, I'd really appreciate it. My steering rack is leaking like a sieve, and Dodge just quoted me over $2K for a new one.
Rear diff is also howling, so any info on that would be greatly appreciated as well. I don't know if swapping out the gears will make any difference, as it was on my to-do list to get a bit more oomph.
Thanks, guys!
Question: A/C compressor...same across Gen-I-GEN III ??? I assume so...I hope so..or any other ideas?
