Is there a trick to this? I'm trying to remove the driver's side window curtain, and it doesn't seem to want to slide forward anymore to unsecure the front latch. I don't want to force it and I've tried pushing down while sliding but nada. Any tips? The passenger side didn't seem to be much of an issue. Thanks,
~Craig

Looking at mine (has not been in the car since I it), they should slide forward to come out. Back to lock in. This judging by looking at the side curtains out of the car.

I suppose it is possible you may have to apply some down pressure.

Definitely slide forward to remove for the factory curtains. I just don't want to force it. Maybe if I talk nice to it. :p

Sometimes I wiggle it side to side (left then right). That or I try putting some pressure on the front (down) and lift the rear side forward and up. Mine gets stuborn sometimes also.

These Window's ****. Only thing that ***** about our GEN 1's....I had to totally take apart my drivers window to get it off the car...the parts get bent a little, which makes for the difficulty.

I've noticed with mine, that it helps to push the window down (at the points where it hooks into the door) in conjunction with pushing forward. You need to finesse it.

Well, a little cringing, pushing and wiggling and it's off. I won't have to worry again (I hope). I bought the winder side curtains from Parts Rack.

Thanks for everyone's help.
