I do believe that at high speed the perfomance of the Z is close but quite not there. The Z is a quick car, and one that cane be made quite fast. I have seen a Lingenfelter TT run a 10.06 so I wouldnt quite want to mess with one.

Stock for stock.. the Viper's torque is about 100 ft.lb more so that settles acceleration there and then..

The Vipers no featherweight, the extra cylinders/cubes makes the torque a hefty bonus.
