After seeing how much cleaner a GTS looks with clear corners, I decided to bite the bullet and order mine. I did the Photoshop below and decided I'd rather have smoked lenses than clear so Jason at Klearz hooked that up:

I got my lenses from Klearz (..: Klearz :..) and my bulbs from Xenon Mods (Welcome to Xenonmods.com). Jason from Klearz was very responsive and went as far to have me send the above Photoshop to him so he could get the tint right, and even advised me on how to paint my housings. The lenses arrived from CANADA before the bulbs did domestically; I wouldn't buy from Xenon Mods again. They waited 11 days to ship bulbs they had in stock (confirmed by USPSs site).

Love that color combo. Next fix, lower facia paint. Watch them curbs !!

The fascia looks a little worse than it is; the 3M film on there is yellowed and chewed up from the previous owner. I pulled the film last night while I was waiting for the paint to dry and cleaned it up under there. I'll be posting soon (with pics) about any DIY stuff I can do until I can spring for spraying the whole enchilada.

That first pic is dodgefever's car...I can't take credit. He had a professional photographer do that for him and I Photoshopped his stripes blue and made the side markers smoked because I wanted to see what my car would look like (before I swapped wheels and side markers).

Thanks for the compliments...Phil, I won't lie; it's a ***** to get your hand in there. I don't have big hands or arms but my right forearm was pretty chewed up when all was said and done. The second one went a lot faster once I knew what I was doing. And do NOT drop any of the nuts down in the fascia; I have no idea how I'd retrieve one if I did.

I ordered the smoked lenses. I sent Jason at Klearz.com the above Photoshop and said "how do I get here?" He said "I'll smoke them, then if you paint the housing black you'll have it." He was 100% right; the outcome was perfect.

Just to help dodgefever visualize (a.k.a. tease him)...:D

Awesome! You tinted the windows for me and put the side markers on. I do like it. Now, the tricky part... did you get the Diablo in it too?:lmao:

I ordered the clear lenses, not sure which bulbs go on the car...could anyone help me out there...

Thanks

I started to pull my side markers, but the lens came off while trying to remove the last nut. I didn't paint my housings black and used 'ilovemymotor'headlight tint to color my lenses.

I decided to get rid of my Orange markers because my GTS is nearly Black. I love the effect of the tinted markers on my sapphire but your GTS is the same color as you tinted markers - awesome!

If you drop the nuts use a magnet to retrieve them (like I did).

Looks good Jason.
Like you said, painting the housing gave it the right tint. Nice job.

What's next?

What's next?

Thank ya!

I'm gonna do HIDs and I should be done with aesthetic mods (unless I win the lottery or find a set of 19/20s on the cheap).

I have a list of things from ART that I need to do maintenance-wise. U-joint straps, brake pads, etc.

I've heard good things about the AEM so I may give one a try. If I have the time I may do the heads on this car, and possibly water/**** and/or an overdrive pulley. What's the HP record for a Roe car? :D LET'S BREAK SOMETHIN' (either a record or my car)!

Go over to A.R.T and find out. It's over there.....:D
Ask DW?.....;)

Inspired by Jason's car, I did the smoked corners. I went with the black housings and the darkest tinting on the lenses. I wasn't sure I liked it at first, but it is starting to grow on me. Jason from Klearz is very responsive and provides great customer service.

Opinions appreciated.

Above is very nice. How visible are the lights as that tint is dark

I got amber incandescent bulbs at Advance Auto for 6 bucks. They are reasonably visible during the day. I haven't checked them at night yet, but I think the will be bright enough.

Awesome. Did you do the rears marker and backup lenses as well? I'm geing a little lazy, but I'll get to it. I red primered my housings on my ACR since it had chromed housings and lear lenses. Looks much better as well. The markers certainly weren't added for looks and Orange seems like it would only look good on an orange car.
