OK,
So I just installed new smooth tubes and filters on my '94. Am I going to get any "Check Engine" lights or whatever from this, or is this as easy as it seemed and no problems will be encountered. The whole thing took less than an hour, and it was very easy to do. the stock air filters have a huge piece of sponge attached to them which makes the filters very thick. I guess that foam is there to quiet the "Giant sucking sound" that Ross Perrot was so fond of saying? Looks like it puts a huge restriction to the breathing ability of the Viper. Any comments would certainly be appreciated.
