I LOVE the snakesking green in coupe form w/either black or white stripes, but I've been wondering lately, is it a hard color to live with??? The color is so wild & cool, but that question keeps popping in the back of my mind? What about you folks that actually have the SSG, what do you think?

Of course the color still has that WOW factor to me, but then again, I don't see it every day. :D

I guess it all depends on whether or not you enjoy driving the most beautiful, bad-a** car on the planet.

I have had my SSG Vert since February and I still love it! I have never gotten tired of looking at it. It doesn't get old at all. In fact, I like it more every time I look at it.

The color is very striking and it definitely turns heads on the highway.

So, my question to you is what are you waiting for? This color won't be around next year.

Might be hard to sell...then you would have to live with it.

I don't think it would be. I've had a lot people tell me that they have been looking for a SSG but can't find one. And I've had even more people tell me that it is the most beautiful color they've seen on a viper.

I realize I am a little biased on this but I think it's gorgeous and will always have the WOW factor.:D

What color do you think the next winner of the Raffle Car is going to pick? I'll bet my post Raffle Car ticket that it will be a SSG ACR! I won't tell what color stripe I will pick, that will be a surprise. :lmao:

Hey we have the exact same car....

Although I've only had it for 2 weeks, every time I open the garage, I am in AWE!! I can't imaging SSG ever getting old. I remember the first time I saw SSG and immediately said that is the best Viper color ever.

It turns heads like none other.

All I ever saw were the panels of the SSG at a Saleen Plant tour back in September. It was love at first sight! I ordered it two weeks later. I was still worried how it would look on a complete car. When I went to see the car built I could not get over how awesome it was. There were other complete cars to look at so I could get a complete picture. Still had not seen one outside in the sun light till I saw mine a week after it was delivered to my dealer. It was overcast the day it was delivered and the car sat in the showroom until the roads cleared enough to get it home. Still had not had sun light for about four more day. When I did get it out in the sun, WOW did the color POP! Just totally AWESOME. It just changes all the time, different light, different shade. To me this is a color I will never get tired of but that is just me. I will probably keep this car for life. Hope to someday get a vert for my wife.
Most people how see the car say that they did not like green cars but the SSG looks awesome on the Viper. SSG is a passion as is the Viper. IMHO

I gotta say I was reluctant at first but I have yet to take the car out where someone, usually more than one, says the color is bitchin or "that car is sick!". I wouldnt have any other color. Also, SSG being a one model year color, I think they will hold their value quite well.

It is a wow color. If you can get used to that, you will be fine. Many people that buy it (NOT ALL) tend to buy it for the flashyness. Just like all exotics (Lambo, Ferrari, Viper), the wild colors tend to attract the more flashy. The only way you will live with this color is if you are like that or genuinely love the color. If you do not want the attention, this is not the color for you.

If you love it, I do not think that you will get sick of seeing it in your garage everyday. my wife loves her SSG, and I have thought about buying a SSG coupe.
it really is a stand out color, unusual, and dare i say.... ****.:)

We liked the color in pictures but when the car arrived and rolled off the trailer it looked amazing!
One of the most common reactions we get is people think it's a custom paint job.

Where our black 04 looked better in the shade, this SSG belongs in the sun.

We get this all the time people ask "where did you have it painted". Also have heard "that's the nicest one here" at every event I've been at with it. I had the same concern about the color when I ordered it, but have not regretted getting SSG once.

SSG is indeed a bold color. The Viper is a bold in your face car. Both the color and the car make a great match.

It's absolutely my favorite Viper color, ever (and I'm a ******** former Bumblebee owner) -- I love wild colors. I get more comments (all have been positive) about this color than any other color I have ever owned. Will I tire of it, not a chance. It's the only reason I decided to get a 2008 model, otherwise I would have stuck with my 06' Coupe.

Another cool thing about SSG is that it is a color true to the Green Pit Viper... They seem to have rendered this color from the actual snake!

SSG, beautiful color today and it sure is striking but I am not so sure in 5 years if that color will look so in. Times change and novelty colors wear out and it may be one of those colors like Millenium yellow in a vette that in the future people might say what were they thinking.
Tough call but I say enjoy it and don't worry about what others will think. Its your baby and just have fun as they are beautiful.

it only goes out of style when every car manufacturer uses it. its only a one year color, like sapphire, before it. do you think sapphire looks out dated?

Now, if we could just get someone to come out with some SSG Green apparel. There is only one type of shirt and a jacket in green with Viper logo that I can find. No hat, Teeshirts or other things in the SSG type color. I guess exclusivity has it's price.
