I just entered it to enter it. It was a local show with about 270 cars. I just washed and quikwaxed it. I didnt touch the motor. Just sprayed the wheels off and wipe them down. I didnt expect to win anything. As usual, it was mostly Vettes and Mustangs. But being the only Viper there probably had something to do with me winning the Production Car, 1979-99 class, closed (non-convertible) class.
Side story: We all get the "is it a V12?" question. But this guy took it a bit further.
Guy: Is this a V12?
Me: No, its a V10.
Guy: Oh, I think they started making them in V12 in 2004.
Me: No, all production Viper are V10, from 1992 until now.
Guy: Oh yeah, but I think you could special order them with a V12 from the factory. I rode in one. They are really fast.
Me: Yeah.
Thats why my new license plate is going to be V-TEN.
