Finally sold my 99 vette today to a lucky guy. I'm now looking for a 99-00 GTS with low miles. Darren Buhler is working on it. I drove his 2000 Roadster today!!!! WOW, I was hooked. I must say is a lot different than a Vette. The Vette feels a lot roomier inside compare to the Viper. The ride is also totally different, not as smooth. But I guess if I wanted smooth I would kept the Vette.!!!!

JBS,

I sold a 99 Hardtop with a 382 Agostino in it and bought a 2001 GTS. I love the GTS, it is such a different car from the vette it can not be compared in most categories, they are just to different. Good luck in the search, you might want to also Call Bill Pemberton form Woodhouse. Darren and Bill are both supporting dealer and great guys. Good luck....the worst part is the wait....

JBS,
That's Great! welcome to the family. Check the "Viper Days"
website and find the fist location you can get to and GO! you'll love it!
You will find out just how much fun a Viper is. Great class instruction and ride along instructors. If you already have track time it's still a great place to meet new friends and see all kinds of different setup's.
I talked to Bill Pemberton this week and said he had several cars new and used in stock. Give him a call, They deliver!
Congrats, and Merry Christmas!!!!

JBS,

Great News!! You're gonna love the Viper! Welcome Aboard! I can't wait until you actually take delivery, then you'll really know what a difference the two cars are and what a good decision you made.

While I still miss my 94 ZR-1, the Viper is in a whole different league. Welcome aboard! You will not regret your decision.

It sounds like the vette is simply a "starter drug" whereas the Viper is the "crack" of sports cars!
