Sometimes I get a clunk from my tranny??

Sometimes when I accelerate hard and then brake real hard, it's like something shifts (moves) with a clunk. Maybe the tranny mounts are not tight enough or motor mount? Dif mounts? Anyone else having this trouble or experienced this before?
You can actually feel something move.

My car clunked when it was new. I brought it to a friend of mine and we checked it out and found there was nothing wrong with it. Just something that Vipers do I guess? Have your mechanic put it in the in the air and take a look.

I have the clunk but just today noticed a loud pop under somewhat aggressive downshift from 3rd to 2nd - perhaps my rpm wasn't high enough and there was an unusual drivetrain stress??? It sounded like loud pop. Half shaft looks normal.

If you hit the rev limiter on your down shift, you'll get a loud bang.
