spare with out run flats

Hey Guys
a newbie here, picked up a 06 coupe with blk/w silver stripe, a month ago, and I am seeing a lot of you are switching out your run flats for other wheel/tire combos. That being the case, what do you do for a spare?
My Viper although a second vehicle, will be a driver putting on about 8k miles a year. Don't know if I could risk a flat wit no spare, or compressor to fix on on the road.

depends on what you are going to do with the car,daily driver and you are not going to track the car and you are worried, leave the run flats on the car.I have had my for 3 years and have took it to the track once with the run flat ,no problems but I have been glad I had the run flats,had 1 flat 120 miles from home,put in air and drove fix it when I got home,next time flat in the garage,put in air and drove and had it fix.

I wonder whac DC will include with the '08 cars as they will not have run-flats.

I have not addressed it yet since I still have run flats, but when I change them I will do what I do with my other cars with no room for a spare. I make up a little road kit with 12 volt pump, plugs, fix a flat and some hand tools.

Get a CCK, a good plug kit and some pliers. Most of my flats in other cars were from picking up a roofing nail or drywall screw and usually I can roll the car to find the object in the tread, pull it out with the pliers and insert a plug. That way you avoid putting the goop in the tire and save it for the time you can't get at the puncture. If you're not familar with using a plug kit, get an old tire from your nearby tire shop and practice a few times. It's real easy and takes only a few minutes. Also, if you plug a tire, make sure you take it to a shop and have them vulcanize in a patch as plugs are not safe for long-term extended/high speed driving.

The conti kit works great as a last resort as putting in tire sealer, Slime, is never a good idea if you can avoid it. I would use the air compressor half of it along with a good tire plug kit. The string type kits are not really safe on our tires for long term so vulcanizing is in order. Another option is the NAPA tire gun which uses a mushroom head plug which is safe and does not require vulcanizing. I have listed below the part number, MSRP, and dealer cost.

I have a AAA Gold Card and they will flat bed me anywhere I want for free.

my guess, the same thing the srt8's come with a compressor and a can of tire goop
