Hey All,
I was starting to swap out the plugs on my 98 gts. Per some of the other threads it sounded like the Champion RC12ECC were a good choice, so thats what I grabbed.
I pulled the first plug out and it actually has a shorted tip than the RC12ECC, are these still ok to put in (see attached pic)?
Also, the car had some work done to it prior to me purchasing it and the invoice says R and R heads and also shows the plugs they used as "4.6 3 volt.", it also has a custom cam 236/236 560/560 112 lobe, and a port and polish. Not sure if this could change what type of plugs I should use? Just worried if the piston could potentially strike the plug with this extra length, I'm assuming no?
The work was done in 2011, so I am not sure if these are the same plugs that were put in when the car was worked on.
