I recieved my issue today. The article on Doug Levin was very intresting, and gave light as to how he came to be one of the best viper supertuners in the USA.

I got mine today.
Surprised to find out there are only 660 Vipers in NYS.

I've had my car for one year and have only seen two others on the street a yellow r/t and a red GTS.

I drove down to florida and back last month and did not see a single one. I did see three Diablos, one Modena and a s*** load of Vettes and porsches.

According to the poll- There are no 92's in New Hampshire.
On page 41 it says that Bob Woodhouse knows how to drive his Viper.

Having watched those Vipers-by-state stats for several years now, it seems to me that they represent point of sale...NOT current DMV registrations of Vipers owned in that state. That accounts for the fact that New Hampshire was in the top ten states a couple of years back (Fitzgerald), answers the "mystery" about the rise in Nebraska (i.e. Woodhouse), and why some states numbers seem to have leveled off recently. PERSONALLY, I would find the "data" more interesting if it represented CURRENT registrations in the given states. Of course, I could be wrong in my interpretation.

Steve- You must be right about original point of sale. DC obviously knows where my car is, I get a statement every month. Thanks.

I also found the picture of the "1995" Viper on page 17 amusing: It has a small footnote that "1998 Viper retouching shown", as it shows the smoothy hood and no side exhaust. Oh, and also shows 1999+ 18" wheels and no foglight covers (also '99+). A true bastige child, it is not a 1995, nor a 1998 as noted. Looks pretty good regardless, and makes for an interesting wheel upgrade study for Gen I cars!

I can't wait for my issue to arrive! How long does it take for one to reach DE?
