I've got 5500 miles on my SRT now, and I was hoping the shifter would go to a normal position in neutral aligned with second and fourth, as the linkage loosened up.That does not appear to be happening. I have never owned a car I had less confidence in shifting. How hard would it have been to have heavier springs in the shifter to make the 2-3 and 3-4 shifts a little more fail safe? I don't really want to mod the car, but there may be no alternative. I'll bet I'm not the only one less than thrilled with this piece of engineering!

I've never missed a shift in the SRT. Missed a couple in 2 previous snakes. I think it's about perfect, after changing the shift knob.
