Dealt with tons of Corporate heads, race drivers, pro athletes, producers, writers, etc. and Sly was probably one of the nicest guys I have ever dealt with. He took our driver into his home and thanked him profusely , was courteous and gracious to him -- even though he had just gotten out of the hospital from back surgery and could not stand for any length of time.

He dealt with Mark and I the entire time, because all he wanted to talk about was cars, and especially American cars -- he feels this may be the last true American muscle car made. As noted, think Leno, and realize this is a passionate guy who likes Vipers just like the rest of us.

PS - on another note, he should be one of our newest members, as it appears the free membership will continue on the 2010s , at least through last year, and the car was purchased in 2010.

He also has an incredible collection of Lambos. I have seen him driving around in his cars a few times. Not sure if he still lives there but he had a house in Las Vegas just across the street from Wayne Newton. I met him about 4-5 years ago, very nice but surprisingly short!

I saw him driving a Lambo in 94/95. He was stuck in traffic in the opposite lane. I was on my ZX11 and made a U-turn. I then tailed him and harassed him for a few miles until he opened it up on the Palisades Interstate Pkwy. Suffice it to say it was a blast.

If the guy is short what does that have to do with him buying a Viper? Guy has made a great life for himself and his family AND gives a lot of time/donations to charity. Seems like its easy to make fun of people or judge them on the computer...what have YOU done lately to give back? Before you sit in your Viper or in front of your computer think of that next time before you make fun of anyone.

Well, at least there is one in California. Sly's Snake is the only one of the 20 on the West Coast with the most residing in Florida. There are only 4 West of the Mississippi and two are in the hands of one fun family.

Colorado members need to be on the lookout , as one of the Black/Red striped tripletts just decided to reside in the Rocky Mountain State.
