I'm gearing up for the Sand Hills Open Road Challenge this Summer.

One of the events is the "one mile shoot-out" where cars compete to see who can have the fastest top speed in a standing mile.
According to the race folks, nobody in a stock Viper has ever broke 160mph. Motor Trend's tests of the SRT-10 came off with 167mph. I'm wondering if 160mph is possible in a stock Viper for a mere mortal.
Anyone have an idea of what a good time would be for a stock Viper in the mile? The only performance mod I've got on my car is the K&N filters. I figure that should just about make up for the added weight of the Autoform roll bar. Any hints as to achieving a good time (other than step on the gas and shift at the red line.)
