After driving the car to VOI and back, plus doing a driving school, I figured it was time to replace all the fluids. I head to my local Dodge dealer and my heart skipped a beat when they told me $140 for the following:

4 quarts tranny fluid
2 quarts rear end fluid
1 bottle of the limited slip additive
1 quart power steering fluid

I opted out of getting the $17/Gal antifreeze. I think i'll go with Prestone. :D

Learn something new every day. Never seen a $26 qt of gear lube before. Sheesh... I was just starting to get used to the $70 oil changes...

I think I spent just a hair over $100.00 for the same stuff minus the power steering fluid.

The tranny fluid is the most expensive item per quart.

Those guys behind the parts counter at your local dodge dealership come up with their own prices. The next time in the dealership ask him for "his best price". I always do that and manage to get a little discount after. :2tu:

Factory fill? The Mopar tranny and diff fluids alone are $20/qt.
