Dakota SRT10
Enthusiast
Hi all, I'm hoping you can help me out. I'm working on swapping a 2005 Ram SRT10 motor and tranny into my 2000 dodge dakota. (originally a 4.7L 5 speed manual) I have pretty much everything figured out and most of my parts, but I'm still up in the air about my fuel system. I want to keep the fuel system in the stock dakota fuel tank for now. I need to get the finished product certified as a smog legal swap in CA, so staying with a in tank pump right now is in my best interest.
Does anyone have a solid number on what the factory SRT10 fuel pump flow rates are? I need to know the flow rates to appropriately size my fuel lines. Also, if I decide not to use a stock SRT10 pump, what is a good in tank replacement? I've used Walbro's in other projects in the past, but none of that was on viper related stuff!
Thanks!
