With insurance companies being the CROOKS that they are (yes, I believe EVERY insurance company is crooked as hell) I hope you are covered. With all the $$ they rip off from people, and then try to wiggle out of paying most every claim, I'd love to see one have to pay out $50k on a policy that they never made a penny off of.
You do realize that insurance companies are why you are able to get a loan on a car... or are able to obtain a mortgage on a house. Otherwise, interest rates would be sky high, and credit standards would be almost impossible to be approved.
Without insurance companies, our economy would slow to a crawl.
Deriving this theory from prevailing market forces, including your own observations: If there were no insurance companies, interest rates would rise to the EXACT same level that would equal what you are paying in interest plus the additional costs you pay to your agent. Maybe less, as there will be one less hand in the "for profit" till.
In any case, I think this post is BS, and I'll be the first to say it. The guy registered the day he claimed his car was stolen; one post, no pre-buyer questions like most people new to the board. I think this is post-bait, and someone is having a good laugh somewhere.
