Thanks for the nice feedback.

@ cfiiman, I feel exactly the same way. I am a college professor so I really don't feel good taking it to work. I did once and it had a crowd around it when I was leaving...

I'm a college student and drive my srt to school daily, I've never had any issues :dunno:

But then again, last year someone ran over my parked lotus elise, but it was small, the viper isn't

A college student and you have a Viper... Wow, I drove a 250,000 miles 1975 Toyota Celica to college--I had to put plywood on the floor of the drivers side because there was a hole in the floor. Or, I would have played Fred Flintstone and drove with my feet!!! What college???

I am getting a bug everytime I see my wife's black Challenger SRT-8. While my Viper sits on the lift, she is driving her car to work while I drive the family van (I would not drive the Viper to where I work).

That Challenger looks so damn tough... Thinking about trading my Viper for a Challenger... Of course, I would mod the ____ out of it.

I am thinking of: Shaker hood, supercharger, exhaust, etc. Make it different than the others. Guess I always have to have a project... Maybe I should take up knitting instead??? :D

:omg:REALLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ARE YOU KIDDING:crazy2:!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Paul , you know better than to even think of this trade:buttkick:. Do you not like cruising with us anymore?:drive: Maybe you should of gotten a Challenger for your daily driver instead of a toyota. I am sure Roanoke will take that toyota in on trade and solve your problem. :dunno::dunno::dunno::dunno::dunno::dunno::bonker:

Yea, I was thinking too practical on the daily driver. Too late now as I would take a beating on the trade--I have already tried.

Chrysler would have to come out with some very high end of year incentives to get me out of the Toyota without too much damage. I guess they are going to have some new incentives soon... We'll see...

I love cruising with you guys, but seems kind of silly to have a car that I don't drive very much. $40K just sitting. Well, anyway, I am not going to get rid of it--just kind of thinking out loud on the forum.

:nono:NOT SILLY TO HAVE A CAR YOU DON'T DRIVE VERY MUCH!:nono: There are millions of us that have cars we don't drive all the time:drive:. That makes them even more special each time we do get them out. Next year locally we are going to get out alot more with the cars. I would like to do some longer cruises maybe even overnite. Thinking maybe this sunday we might get out for a few hours I will text you on that:). We need to get you involved more with the IL Viper Club. We had a blast this year at the meetings, with all the cruising and racing events.

About trading the toyato I bet John would work with you on that.:2tu: :usa::usa::usa:

Guess I don't understand why you would feel comfortable driving the Challenger to work, but not the Viper. Both are expensive looking cars and if you are worried about damage, there is an equal risk. Personally, I would keep the Viper (drive the hell put of it) and trade the mini-van. At VOI11, Ralph was bugging all of us about the upcoming Man-Van and he was creating an SRT-6 version. Sounds like you should hold your *** for that.

Challengers are cool but you already have one in the family. Do the Tim the Tool Man Allen thing where you mod the wife's car enough to where she gradually would rather drive the mini-van, then you get both cars to call your own. :)

Well, I looked at the Man Van. Doesn't look a whole lot different from other vans to me... Anyone else see a Dodge Caravan R/T? I guess I will have to see one in person.

I have a Viper and a Honda Civic hybrid. (Talk about extremes, huh?)

One for extreme pleasure and one for boring practicality (since I drive 100 miles a day for work). There is no middle ground for me.

IMHO, you would miss the Viper badly if you unloaded it. Not to mention your rock star status.

Don't......do.......it.......:nono: *
