The car starts right away after being parked overnight. I have a restarting problem when engine is hot. It would barely turn and then alarm light will turn on. 1/2 times it wouldn't crank at all. So, now I have to turn the key in to crank position 2-4 times fast enough not to set the alarm light and get the engine cranked. All of the symptoms of a low battery I'd say, but as I said earlier it starts fine when car is cold. A while back I had a bad ground on the battery and the car had similar symptoms starting. Any ideas of what it might be this time? Starter?

BATTERY or its connections would be my prime suspect

(ground maybe)

(Alternator maybe)

I had the same problem, it´s the battery. Buy a new with the right specifications, important is that the battery have a good start power/start Ah.
