Can't believe it...winter and spring it rains almost all the time..now it is the middle of may and it was 103 yesterday in Austin...so much for dirving in the summer with the top of during the day. Guess I will have to limit my driving to mornings and Evenings...AND IT'S ONLY MAY ;(

I put 190 highway miles on today in 99 degree weather and the temp gauge never got past 185 degrees. A/C on full blast and listening to the exhaust. The only b*tch was getting out of the car.

Sounds like a good reason to remove your cats, or install high-flow ones to me....

Waaa Waaa Waaa! **** it up. It could be worse, you could be driving a powder blue 73 pinto with rust holes in the roof, no AC and bald tires.

It was 112 Yesterday in Palm Springs which is about 50 miles from me. I LOVE hopping in my RT and heading down around 5pm for an evening cruise. There is not a GTS in the world that can replace the feeling of no top or windows and slithering through the light traffic. Yep its only May out here too.

If you had a GTS you wouldn't have to wait until 5pm. :D :usa:

OR, just an rt/10 with a hardtop and tinted windows. Like I have in San Antonio. No worries! Oh and removing the Cats makes a BIG difference!

I took the cats out and it did make a difference, but tripple digits are tripple digits...and when you are sitting in traffic, then I wish I had the Hard top, because no top on days like that and you are baking alive!

fluidyne radiator and 180 therm should do the car justice, as for the driver AC baby

Yea, the northeast has had a string of ****** weekends (must be six in a row now) of either rain or predicted rain. Be happy you can at least drive it.

You TX guys don't even know heat. It was 110F here on Sunday. Happy to report the WCV triple pass radiator and overdrive water pump are doing a great job. Car runs about 205-210 in those temps (195-200 in more "normal" temps). Glad I have a GTS. When I see people in convertibles with the roof down over 100 degrees I think they are insane.

110 in Phoenix is like 80 in Texas! I lived in Phoenix for 2years and it doesn't even compare to San Antonio. You're forgetting about a little thing called HUMIDITY!
