Suspension Question.....Driver\'s side not level.

My car was lowered and I checked the rear springs to make sure they were the same height. They were. When I installed the springs and drove the car to help let the springs settle in, I noticed that the driver's side sits about a little under 1/4" lower than the rear passenger side.

I can't figure out why? I'm not fat so I doubt that has anything to do with it.

I was thinking, if my front springs are not the same height (both fronts) then maybe that could throw off my rear height? Or make it uneven? I remember looking at my front springs when I installed them and thought that one springs was a tad bit higher than the other.

What do you think? Could a bad alighnment also make one side higher than the other? I doubt it, but need some thoughts.

Thanks in advance.

Best bet is to go to someone like Sean Roe and have the car rescaled for ride heights.

Setting ride heights and scaling the car for weight (with you in it) sets the car up, Hopefully to make the car nuetral and weighted evenly. This helps balance especially if you race the car on road courses.

is it common to have uneven (even just a little) difference in ride height from the factory?

Just had my 94 lowered, now need to get her realigned
I measured from centre of wheel to bottom of arch both fronts were the same and both rears were the same.
But the front left N/S gap between tyre and arch was smaller than other side this is because of the neg camber being out.

Having ride heights different is common if you need to jack a corner to even out the cross weights.
One main thing to have checked when lowering a car, Especially an inch, is suspension geometry. What everyone forgets about is bump steer. Changing geometry often changes bump steer. This is very critical in cornering. This is very important to have checked. Many good race shops know how to check this.
