I'm leaving my top on until Sunday. Not sure what the parking situation is at the hotel, but without a cover or tonneau (sp?) cover not comfortable just leaving the car open all night.

Finished cleaning/doing the engine compartment for Sunday...what a drag, happy I'm done Sorry for the bad (fuzzy) photo, took with my cell phone.

Car is almost there but I need to order custom pushrods and that will take a few days so it won't be ready in time for 'Toga. My wife and I wanted to drive up and spend the weekend but we can't line up sitters. So I'll have to miss this one.

I'm sure your car looks as good as it can......for a Red car.

For those of us planning to drive up (from the south) for the day, let's see if we can set up a few meeting spots. Last time the Troopers hasseled us at the truck stop at the entrance of the northway.
I'll make some suggestions and based on everyones comments we can change it up to suit.

There seems to be a rest area just north of Exit 9 on the Northway (Rte 87). The Clifton Park Rest Area is at mile marker 15.4 Unless others have a better idea I'd suggest we make this our last stop prior to heading in to the Museum, which is about 13 miles from there. This should also be good for those driving east or west on Rte 90.

So for starters:

10:00 AM Clifton Park Rest Area-Rte 87 (Northway) just north of Exit 9

About 100 Miles

8:30 AM Plattekill Rest Area-NYS Thruway just north Exit 17

About 60 Miles

7:30 AM Ardsley Rest Area-NYS Thruway just noth of Exit 6 (Toll)
