Put new plugs in today and went with a cooler set. Also bought a set of Champion 'COLD' race plugs. They did not work at all - car barely idled with them. (they are Champion stock # 295) I was just interested since the Champion catalog says they are for extreme high compression. Must mean REAL extreme. They have no extension and the ground is cut back at the factory like we used to do in the old SBC days. Anyhow, Cool NAPA counter guy took them back and thank goodness since they are $4 each. The 435's however seem as good as any other 'colder' plug I have used to date. Once I get some miles on them I will post my thoughts.....
