Damn dude, registration is already closed. We were talking about doing the March event yesterday. Did not know it filled up so fast.

Gary, My brother and I will be coming from Minnesota. I have a 99 RT/10 (black with blue stripes), he has a Porsche 993 turbo. Won't be breaking any records but it should be fun.

Spots filled up quick, but I am in. I will be there participating on Saturday and Sunday. No record breaker here. I will there just for fun and to see what my measly 500whp SRT Vert can do. I will be happy with 165mph.

My understanding is that a lot of the real heavy hitters in the mile (UGR, Ray Hoffman, SW) bowed out after Richard Holt's Gallardo crashed at high speed last fall. Does anybody know if ART will be back with their world record-holding Viper?

I'll be there in my supercharged Z06. I'd like to hit 190 in it.

You have to be Johnny-on-the-spot when registration opens. Fills up in hours.
It's not too late however. They will be starting a standby list in Feb. I believe. Check their website for more details.

I think some of the members of both the Houston and Austin regions of the VCA will be attending. The Houston Region VCA has it on their schedule as a member event for October.

Just got back from Goliad and still can't believe how much fun that was!
Got to see Art run 240 mph and two 239 mph passes.
The best we did in my 2008 was 176.8...not bad for a street car!
Lots of really nice fast cars there.
Anybody else there over the weekend?

Gary, Was great meeting you there. I ended up at 185.4 with my RT/10. Now I finally have a reasonable answer for that "how fast have you driven it?" question I always get.
The A.R.T. car was something to see. The Viper community is well represented by David and his team, they are great guys and consummate professionals.

Nice meeting you also. That's one nice car you have. I love the Roe blowers just wish they made one for my car. Let me know if your going to be in Texas again and we'll hook up for some more Viper action!
