I had the ROE supercharger installed by Tator's about 8 or 9 years ago when Sean Roe first introduced them to the market. I bought a supercharger from ROE ASAP since my Viper just came off extended warranty and it was time to add some HP. Chuck did the install 9 years ago, and initially, since I was one of the early cars with the supercharger, I had some drive ability issues for the first 6 months and then after a few adjustments 9 years ago, everything ran perfect. For the next 9 years the car ran flawless and like a rocket. Then last year for some unknown reason, the car started to run real crappy again. stalling, surging, no power, misfiring. I thought it might be some small issues , possibly the O2 sensors being old spark plug wires etc . But nothing helped until I saw the "Wizard".
I was becoming quite lost trying to locate the issue. Chuck suggested Dyno re-tune of the settings for spark fuel timing etc. The exhaust had to come off, bungs were installed and then the car was put on a dyno to tune it. Runs like a Champ again. Turned out the programming somehow got corrupted. No parts replaced, just reprogram of the computer with the supercharger.
Chuck knows these cars like the back of his hand. There are Viper Techs and then there is the ELITE Viper tech Chuck.
Just thank goodness he is so close by. I would be stuck otherwise.
