Well, I went to a Viper meeting this morning and got my first Viper ride. It was in Andy's red '02 RT. That is one fine RT (LOVE that exhaust!). All I can say is that, it was AWESOME! It was better then I had expected (not that I thought it wouldn’t be good). Everyone stared at us as we flew by them. He got on it a few times and it threw me back in my seat. The power on these cars is unbelievable. Seeing everyone stare at us was really cool. Andy seemed pretty use to it but he still had a smile on his face the whole time. I wasn’t sure how the fit of the cockpit would feel, since I have heard mixed feelings about it. It was actually pretty comfortable (not in the least bit REAL comfortable but, it wasn’t bad). The fit was really tight and the ride was really ruff but that was 2 of the things I liked the most. We had pulled up to one of the lights and there was a car of girls (in a Civic) and as soon as they saw the RT, you could see their eyes light up (like, that’s a F@$%ING VIPER!). lol... The RSI guys were there with 2 of their Vipers. One had a HUGE bottle of NOS just sitting in the hatch. It was also my first time to actually hear a Viper up close and personal and D@MNIT, these things are LOUD!! They are so intimidating. lol... Pretty much every Viper there had some kind of modification(s). And EVERY Viper (except for 1) had the MGW Gripper Shifter (or other MGW product). The MGW GTS gas caps are really nice in person. I took 2 rolls of film. So I will be posting pics soon. Hopefully by this afternoon (if anyone would like to see?). By the way, there was 2 SRT's there and all I can say is that pictures do them NO justice BUT I still like the GEN 1-GEN 2's A LOT BETTER!! One last thing, I was walking around taking my pics and drooling on myself when this guy comes up next to me and starts taking pics of the cars as well. So he wonders off to another car to take pics of it. When he was done he comes over next to me again and he turns to me and says, "They are pretty cars aren’t they?” I simply stated, "Yes they are". I then ask him if the Viper Club had hired him to take pics of the meeting? In which he said "No, I just do it for fun". So after that he walks away and goes to talk to one of the SRT owners. Well, a few minutes go by and a gentleman walks up next to me taking pics as well and he states that the guy I was just talking to (the guy I asked the question to) is no other than the infamous J O H N H E N N E S S E Y. At first I felt a little embarrassed then I thought to myself. This guy has screwed so many people over, why should I feel bad about asking him if he was hired to take pics? lol... So, that’s my J H encounter story. lol...

Thanks Andy for the awesome ride and opportunity!! :D :D :D :D

I am glad you enjoyed it!

It is always nice to see someones face the first time they get in a viper, come to think about it's the same face I make everytime I get in.
