I just wanted to say that I had an AWESOME time at the Crab Feast and thank Gus and Lee and anybody else that was involved for putting on an outstanding event. I am not sure why there was not more northern or NJ members there because it was definitely withing a reasonable driving distance and one of the most awesome events I have been to in a while. The ***** were excellent and the sight of 50 Vipers flying down the highway was just incredible, you have to see the look on the faces of the vette owners we passed on the way, priceless. ;) I also wanted to thank Bernie for supplying me an awesome car to participate in this event with. For those that don't already know I drove 4 1/2 hours through the wind and storm down to Crozier Va Friday night and picked up my 01 Sapphire GTS with 985 miles on it. I have to say that the car was impecable and the delivery/entire ordeal was a pleasure. Anybody looking for a Viper Bernie is the man to see.

Hopefully posting pics will work here. Here I am picking up/inspecting my new GTS.

I have to say it was close to a perfect day, that is except for both me and my wife getting $90 each speeding tickets for doing 75mph. The officer was nice and lowered it to 74, Whoopee, so we would not get any points. I don't mind paying the fine but DO NOT want/need any points. We were going with the flow of traffic but he grabbed 3 of us out of the group. I saw crazy4cars fly by as we were on the side of the road pulled over. All's well that ends well.

The color you weren't sure of is Steel Grey and yes, it is an awesome color for a Viper if I do say so myself! Nice pics BTW.

The Sapphire with the side exhaust is a special car. It belonged to Paul Mumford. It did have a built Caldwell motor in it and was the Ultimate Street Car Champion about four years ago. It was built to tear up both the streets and any road course it was taken on.

Thanks, we will have to get together sometime to compare notes. You should think about coming out to the Ridley Creek State Park hangout one weekend, it is every Sunday from 9:00 AM till whenever in lot #14. If you decide to come just let me know so I can make sure I show up that weekend. :2tu:
