John is the owner over a CCW. He was one of the first to start the Triple plate process. This makes the chrome very pliable. There is less of a chance to have it flake. He has chromed numerous parts for me never a problem. I had a set of magnesium vette wheels plated. About a month later they had a nice chunk taken out by a curb. They did not flake off. The plating cracked just like the wheel. Anyway, John fixed and replated the wheel with shipping for $150!!!!!!

kidding about black chrome. Not sure if it exists. Try a good powder coat shop, many flavors to choose from. I have seen powder coat come out very close to chrome.
