Hello;

I reached the magic 500 mark on the Odometer yesterday, and decided to have some fun.

It was about 40 degrees outside, so fairly cold tires for sure even after a 100 plus mile drive. I did my first drag start up to about 70 (in a blink) and found that the new run-flats combined with the anti-slip diff was a new experience! I did a good tire spinning launch in 1st, rear end did the almost normal dance, and then... I could feel it "hook up" like never before. Solid!

I am sure this is a combination of many new improvements on the SRT, but this was VERY noticeable; even with cold temps. The new engine and increased power was also VERY evident by my "seat of the pants" meter.

How the mags couldn't crack sub 4.0 0-60 sec runs is really surprising (except C&D review). One of you experienced racers is GOING to log a 3.7 or 3.8 REAL SOON, I just know it! How can we not? With 50 more ponies, 50 more lb flbs of torque, less weight, and better aero, (may not affect 0-60 though) it has got to be a sub 3.9 Viper.

I hope you racers will finish your breake-ins and start posting some kick *#*# times... it's gonna be true.

Jim
