Here I am at home waiting for the phone to ring and on the other end it is Gary Almond saying he will be here in 2 hours with my new steel grey/silver striped GTS but it is only a dream because he has not called yet. I am going nuts. I have never been this excited to get a different car in my life. Well, I was pretty happy camper when my Mother gave me the keys to 2 Shelby Mustangs after my Father died but this is different. I am anxious. I am nervous. I am pacing. I am excited. THE SUSPENSE IS KILLING ME!! Come on Gary......CALL!! :D
BTW, how do you update your sig these days?

Gary is sitting next to me right now, watching the game and having a beer! He said your car is not due to arrive until Sunday after the Bears game! :D

The thing about Gary is you don't have to worry, your car will get there safe and sound. Congratulations on the new GTS, where did you get it? And you update your sig by PM'ing me what you want. I will get it up tonight for you.

No word yet and it is 8:08pm. No sleep tonight for Duane, I can tell you that much!! I got the car from a dealer in New York and the best part is that it only has 5900 miles on the clock. I will PM you tomorrow Lee with with my updated sig.

Hey D,
My wife was just as excited when I came home with
a new Toyota Sienna 4WD minivan. She's obviously smarter
than you cause she bought the best rated vehicle made
and still has money left over for the S/C.ha
I'll bet this time next year you'll be calling Roe for XMAS.

Good Luck Pickle D-ICK

It has arrived!! Absolutely gorgeous car. Not even a hairline scratch on her. Wheel wells, underside, engine all look brand new, it is incredible. In all of the excitement, I forgot to take pics. I will take some tomorrow after work and then post them. I will tell you that Gary is a class act. Great guy and takes respect in his work. I will be honest, I do miss my Gen1. Lots of TLC went into that car(and money)but I love my new Gen2. Wasn't snowing up here today Casey but Gary said it was snowing pretty hard in Indiana this a.m. Can't drive it though, TONS of salt on the roads so with the help of steve911, I will be trailering it to it's winter home next weekend. Man I am as giddy as a schoolboy, I absolutely love this car!! Will post pics tomorrow. :headbang:

Duane,

Congratulations and it was great meeting you! You definitely have an incredibly sweet car with your new GTS. I know you miss that supercharged Gen 1, but that will be forgotten as soon as you go crazy on this one. hahahahaha!

Thanks for the nice compliments and also it was great meeting Steve 911.

I happened to stop by Duane's house while Gary A. was unloading the car. It was nice to meet Gary finally after hearing all about him for so long on the forums.

To say the Duane's new car is awesome would be an understatement. That is the first grey/silver car I have seen. The color combination is great. The rest of the car is clean as a whistle. I can't wait for spring to come so I can catch a ride.

When Duane gets his pics up of the car, you'll see what I mean. :) :D

Damn, I STILL forgot to take pics!! I will soon and then post them. Road America is nice Leslie. I have gone up there twice and driven the track during break and me opening up my Gen1 would be an understatement!
Thanx for the help Steve. You think the paint is clean on my new car, wait until you see the underneath. I may be afraid to drive it it is that clean.
Pics coming soon.

Yes Ian, your car was on the trailer with mine. Your B/W is awesome!!! Man that thing sounds mean. Gary started it up to pull it out of the trailer and the neighbors came out. One gorgeous ride you have there. It took 3 of us to help get yours unloaded/loaded because it it so damn low!
Yes, pics will be coming I promise.
