the pics arent that great, but its what the guy sent me. This is an old hennessy kit for a viper and he said he thought they were garrett gt35 turbo's or something like that with a smaller compressor housing. The kit looks a little rough, but looks like it might be a decent way to get some power without spending a fortune.

he said it also doesnt use a scavenging pump for the oil return, so its a gravity return setup. Its got tial wastegates and BOV's.

I know everybody hates hennessy, but I really really want to get a turbo kit together on my car without spending a fortune.

he said this came of a car that was wrecked and the kit only had 3k miles on it. He had the turbo's gone through by innovate and they were in good shape, but had new seals and everything put in them anyway. Does anybody know what kind of turbo's these are? He mentioned that he through they were gt35's with a hybrid compressor housing, but he wasnt 100% sure.

also does anyone know if this kit will go on without any frame cutting or serious modifications?

Run far. Run fast.

Spend a bit of extra dough and get a DLM or Heffner package.

You will not find a kind word about Hennessey's garbage on this board.

and his older stuff is even worse.

those turbos are likely gonna need to be rebuilt, no scavenge pump is scary, no fuel system and i dont know squat about turbos. and thats what i noticed.

dont do it !!! you will regret this if you do.

dont quote me on this....call DLM for details. I think for $15K he can install a paxton, fuel system and tune it for you.

I was just thinking of the same thing before I even read the follow up posts. This has "money pit" written all over it.

I wouldn't touch that system if you gave it to me. You may end up spending more in debugging and troubleshooting it then you would with a new reputable system.

To me they look like a T3/T4 hybrid. But someone else may know for sure.

The manifold look like stock tubular manifolds modified with a T3 flange.
