Thinking about stripes...

Has anyone ever done a different type of striping on a Viper other than the usual dual racing stripes? I saw a picture somewhere of a striped Viper that was red like mine but had white stripes on the hood, but didn't extend down onto the front fascia. They just sort of ended on the hood. Hard to describe it and I can't find any pictures of it anywhere. I was thinking of maybe trying something different other than the usual, any thoughts or opinions or pictures? I would do vinyl at first and then maybe paint if I liked it.

Call me nuts but I like those stripes that are just on the hood, top and back...unique looking! I like the wider style of Austin's but in stone white maybe...not trying to look like an FE GTS. Are those painted on?

same half radius finishing on top of the trunk lid, did a similar thing with my RT, but changed it and went for full stripes within the week

Actually, the 96 cars (RT's) were vinyl striped from the factory, then cleared over. Here is a front shot of my first Viper

I think they would look better if they didn't have the curve in the front at the hood and it looks even worse on the rear with the curve.

If you want to end at the hood, just go with the full stripe width on the front and rear! If you have to add the curve stripe, do it on the front bumper and end at the bottom of the sneaky pete emblem on both sides!

To each his own Jon..I dont particularily care for those semi cuts on the facia..prefer solid like mine but if it floats your boat...I mean viper, thats okay too
