After seeing several of you comment negatively on the clear side marker lights I was hesitant, especially on the blue, but I had to do it anyway! I think having the silver letters on the side helps.. and the roof scoop, and the wing, and the side louvers, and the painted cowl..

Ok, Ok, it's still not rice because it's "WHAT'S ON THE INSIDE THAT COUNTS".. Wait I think I remember hearing that before someone tried to set me up on a blind date.

I think they look GREAT!

I have a set I bought a while back to put on my "Frankenstein Viper". I figured they would look good with the Pewter Metallic paint that is going on the car. I hope thay look half as good on my car as they do on your blue/white.

Michael,

Your car is looking great. I'm heading out to Heffners to pick mine up this weekend. We'll have to get together soon.

FWIW, I have a set of brand new clear corners I'm going to install as soon as I get home :D

Finest regards,
Ben

I think they look fine. Unless you point out the change, most wouldn't even notice that you deviated so far down the path of "that's just not done on a Viper!" *chuckle*

Not at all. I just put clear side markers on my RT like their looks alot better than the stock yellow ones especially on my sapphire blue car. They match the headlights and fog lamps better. The ricers had no influence on my decision to replace the side markers.

Thanks. I think they look even better in person and with the lights on they make quite a statement with the amber bulb inside.

I think they look better than the yellow, not "rice" at all - where are they available from and what's the process in changing them?

I think they look very sharp! Others have noted that they look good with the headlights and foglamps. I first noted how good they look with the white stripes. I think the clear side markers look good on any color.

Slaughter- I heard they are the same shape as truck lights. Try and do a search for them.

I got them at procarparts.com. Pretty easy to install. Turn your wheels all the way to the opposite side your doing. Pull out the 4 inch round rubber plug in the front wheel well. Undo the two screws, pop out the old one and twist out the light from the old housing, and then put the light in the new clear side marker light. You have the option of putting in the new amber bulbs which I did. They come with the side marker lights. Replace the light in the slot and retighten the screw. I used an 8mm on the screws if I remember correctly.

BLUE GTS- I'll send you a pic of the cowl later tonight.

Ninja-V,

Down 1.5" on Hyperco springs. Could still go down more but couldn't drive around town. I have a chin guard on the front that helps.
