I'm reworking the design to get the stripes exactly right and have a NY plate...:)
They are a bit too wide.

I am not much of a gamer, but I am curious what system you are using and how you get the images from there to a PC/Mac/whatever to post on here.

The game is Forza 3 on Xbox.
Forza 3 allows you to save any race and replay it. During the replay, there are a myriad of options you can do including stopping the action and taking a photo from totally adjustable angles. It is one of the really neat things about Forza, making custom cars and photographing them is something they put a lot of emphasis on. They don't have to be photographed in race either, can just take a still shot like my top picture here.

So after taking a picture you can upload it to your Forza supplied in game "storefront" and from there download it t your PC. Then its like linking any other photo you take and putting it up, I use Photobucket and just paste the link in here. Voila....

How do you edit/paint the car like that? I tried using the paint option but it doesn't seem to let me make a "Voodoo".

HEY ! I am a computer dinosaur, so I have never seen or played these games.

Can you / someone actually see "My" 2009 Orange/Black ACR in that game Forza 3 menu of cars? Microsoft came here and filmed it....and Doris' Red/Black 2008 ACR too. But we have not seen "our" cars in the game they sent us! And in some kind of "Gotham-" titled game is my 2006 First Edition.

Supposedly, a player can choose one of these cars to drive.....is it those cars you painted?

Let me know? THANKS! [email protected]

Not exactly.
In the game itself there are three Vipers available to drive and to custom paint.
There is a 99 GTS, a 2003 SRT and the 2008 ACR. These base cars can be painted and modded to make them fully customizable. As you can see in the screen shots above, in that race I did not choose the competition, the game itself put those red/black ACR's in that race. Those are computer generated cars. So they may have very well used your 2008 ACR to model the cars as they had to use someone's car.

There are no specific 2009 ACR's however as the body and motor has not changed from the '08's. Now it's possible that smeone could duplicate your 09 as they did mine, but it is not in the game that way as far as I have seen.

Jon B post up a picture of your car or link to it and I'll see what I can do...:)

Well the only 'Gotham' game has been Project Gotham Racing Jon. PGR4 featured the Comp Coupe and 98' GT2. PGR3 featured the 99 ACR, SRT-10, and SRT Carbon.

Thanks for the info.... I grabbed the unopened "Thank You" games that Microseft sent some time after filming here. My 06 SRT FED was in Project Gotham Racing 3.... Doris's 08 ACR in Forza Motorsports 3......and I think my 09 ACR is in some recently-released, or soon-to-be released or downloadble (?) edition of a Forza 3 game.

The ONLY thing I have seen of the inside workings of these games are your posts above, so THANKS! I have had two teen-kids see my Orange Pace Car at PIR-Portland this summer, and take pix saying "just like the one iwe drive in X-box 360" ....so I ASSume its in there somewhwre..

My 96 GTS is the cover car, and inside menu car on Playstation Test Trive 5..... that was actullay done on track, vs the Gothnam and Forsa stuff digitized in a static studio-setting.

One of thse days...........

Hey Jon, I was gonna post some game covers but I thought this was cooler. I came across this site while looking for Test Drive. It features every Viper or every car made to look like a viper in all the racing games that are out there. Pretty neat and seems the Viper is pretty popular, 8 pages worth of pics!

Forza 3 is so awesome. You need to take that ACR to the old LeMans circuit and see how fast you get at the end of the Mulsanne straight.
