I need to transport my Gen 3. I have a 2 wheel dolly that I have used for other manual transmission cars. Can I use this on my Viper and just put the transmission in neutral?
Thanks
Since this is a project car, the exhaust covers have been removed so the clearance on the dolly fenders is good. My problem is that I'm not familiar with the transmission and differential and don't know if towing will damage to the running gear.
maybe place the car in neutral to help with not damaging the gears. I would try this....
I believe most would have hooked up the tow dolly to your vehicle, have someone guide
you on and maybe start slow before driving at 55mph.
Pretty sure you have to remove the driveshaft, even in neutral I think you can damage the tranny, could be wrong but I think I remember reading it when researching trailering options. I would rent a uhaul auto transport, they are very nice.
