Trade H Spokes for 6 Spokes...anyone?

Picked up a used gen4 and I prefer the look of the 6 spokes. My H spokes aren't perfect. Some curb rash and a little flaking here and here. PM me if interested and I'll send photos.

You're gonna have more luck selling the H spokes if they are in good enough condition, and then buying some 6 spokes. If your H spokes are in bad condition it will be tough to unload them. Just for reference, sold my perfect H spokes with PS2s for $2300.

If they need work, expect $1500-$1800 with tires.

You may have to end up doing what I did.......................just buy the 6 spokes, and keep your old crap as an extra set to have around ' just in case'.
I always keep a set of scrubs mounted and ready to go. If I have a problem, or running a track that's rough on tires, I use those.

That'd be a tough one...IMO, the H-Spoke wheels are some of the least desirable out there, and are much heavier than the 6-spokes. You might have luck unloading them to the Gen I/II crowd since Gen III/IV wheels tend to look pretty good on those, and then you could buy some 6-spokes outright.

That was a schwamming deal. Sure beats the $4500 that some people told me they wanted for their used 5 spoke with tires. No wonder they sold fast

Ebay and CL brought out the scammers and low-ballers.

It's amazing that the 2nd most expensive wheels for the Viper are the least desired.
(BTW- I'll trade mine straight up for a beat-up set of 6-spokes or Venoms)
