I agree! After having the Viper I'll never go back to a vette. It's a lot more fun than even my Procharged C6 was. It just feels like a much more performance oriented car. I'm in Kansas, I'll be sure to join the VCA and check out some local events.

Thanks everyone!

I already get to have my first repair. The passenger side headlight assembly has some condensation on the inside. I have to take it in Wednesday to have it replaced. Other than that I love the car!

Dear Stopltracr,

Congratulations, the car looks great.....so I have one question:

When you return from a drive in the Viper and you tuck it into the garage, how big is the smile on your face when you pass your first mirror?

Regards,
Aaron

Congrats on the new toy. Former supercharged C6 owner here too. I'd still buy another C6 again, that car was a blast too. I'm not anti-Corvette like some guys though.

hope its under warranty somehow. Mine was replaced in my 03 2 years ago under warranty but the cost if i remember was 1300.00 for the light assembly installed!!!

The headlight is $860 installed so maybe the prices dropped some. It's out of warranty too which hurts.

I did like my C6. It was a pretty fun car. In the short amount of time I've driven the Viper it seems to be more fun though. It also gets a lot more looks than the C6 ever did. The Viper seems easier to control than my Procharged C6 because it has more of a constant torque curve where the Procharger immediately broke the tires loose when it kicked in.

You never know.....
***WARNING***WARNING***WARNING***

This guy is full of crap... these are pictures of my new car.

The closest he has probably even come to owning a C6 vette is the pink barbie power-wheels his daughter is rockin.

p.s. thanks for the wheels

Technically the pink vette is a C5 and not a Barbie. ;) She's looking to trade it in for a Disney Princess Solstice soon. I'm still trying to talk my wife into getting the ride-on Viper for my son, then I'll just have to get some black rims for it.

Congratulations on your '04...BLACK wheels look AWEsome...love em! Now you should PM the moderators (citysnake/kcobean/lee00blacksilver/y2k5srt) and upgrade yourself to Viper Owner (pm them your VIN#), better yet join the VCA!!! Where are you located?
That's one gorgeous vert! We have the '05 BLACK vert AND the C6, 436hp paddle-shifting Z06 exhaust Vette...cannot compare one against the other...both have their OWN individualities. ENJOY!!! ~juli

I got my first SRT-10 a few weeks ago and in the meantime I can hardly remember where I parked my nice C5 Convertible.....poor little thing :(

Of course you can´t compare the Viper with a Vette..... it´s just not fair!:nono::D

Once you go Viper you will never go back. That is a decision that you will not regret my friend. :2tu:
