Turned on wipers....what the heck is going on? HELP

Well after 6 years I finally turned on my windshield wipers. I couldn't believe the way they operated. The drivers side comes up...then stops and waits for the passenger side to go up and back down before the drivers side then goes down. Is this correct or is something wrong with mine? I've still got the factory warranty.

What is even cooler is when you turn them on by accident when it is dry and they hit one another. Nothing is cooler than that.

What do you expect, they are two caravan rear wiper motors...

I love the wipers! Never seen anything like them on any car ever... Very cool. Never had any problem using them but I only turn them on when I need them
