Well...passes...many!....speaking about "green" passengers and curves without an end...after 15 to 20 passes like this - all day long, going up AND down for +5000 feet each, even the driver needs a (long) rest!

Oh... you should come over to the Big Bear Run next Sat....about an hour from Palm Springs. Run the 74 the night before and then out to Big Bear in the AM....:drive:

Newport....I agree with you. It has a ton of curves....PS....if you screw up the curves....you are dead. Period.

Yeah it is hairy when it's slightly damp... Notice the clouds you can fly into off the cliff in the first photo. I think that pic was taken at 9,000 ft.
