UPDATE: Cruise this SUNDAY March 7th NY/CT/NJ Region

Hey guys,

Spoke to a few of you and sounds like Sunday might be better to get out and get together. Weather man says 50's and sunny. With all the feedback I received from you all it seems like we will meet 10ish Sunday off L.I.E 495 (south side) Deer Park Avenue think its exit 51 South. We will all get together and head over to CAPTREE by OBI. We will hang there for a bit, take some pics( i want a photo opp and bringing out my pro gear)and then maybe go somewhere for lunch and call it a day. Once we get together and meet and you don't agree with the CAPTREE thing we could head elsewhere. I'm sure we are easy cause we just want to get our cars out and anything will do. Well atleast thats how i feel. Let me know if you DEF in! There are about 5 incl myself that are really interested now and might have more by the end of the week. You are all welcome. Just show up and if you get lost call me!

why isnt it so street legal? you barely pushing 500 HP. whats the matter your signals lights dont work?

maybe will do bear mnt weekend after. this was just a spur of the moment thing and most are already hooked on this idea and will be hard to change again since there are a several of us thats are involved.

F355 might be coming out as well so your best bet would be to hook up with him in the city or by the midtown tunnel(like 34 st and 3rd ave) and drive together. i live by the midtown tunnel so then i can join you guys right after the toll and the three of us can meet everyone else at the final spot off the LIE.

The problem is that cops are all over the place. They are just looking to give you a ticket. Since I have no front plate, tinted windows and no cats it gives them an opportunity to pull me over. OBI used to be a great place to hang out till all of the ricers started coming over.

Can an SRT-10 join in? I was at Captree last Sunday and met 5 other Vipers there via Jones Beach. They sold plenty of hot coffee which came in handy. Great overall turnout with some Ferraris, Chevys etc. Best part was the Ocean Cruise with a few police cruisers keeping a distant eye. Lots of people have cabin fever this year it seems.

Ghetto I'm not. I just used up all favors with cops and did not want the hassle. But since so may other Vipers are going I might go too.
So who is near TZ Bridge?

ok fellas here is the deal. after work i drove thru the midtown tunnel and it took me exactly 25 mins to get to exit 51 (231) deer park ave doin 60-65 mph. the meeting place will be on deer park avenue and cambridge.its about 1 mile south of the L.I E. you will pass a 7 Eleven and will see a CARVEL Ice Cream shop. there are also other shops there and there are plenty of spots there. if for any reason we get kicked out waiting for the others there is a shopping mall two block south of the CARVEL lot and that lots is even bigger. I chose CARVEL lot cause its more open and closer to the street and will be easy for us to be seen. try to be there for 10am. 10:30 will be the dealine and will head to cap tree. if for any reason you miss us we will be there.

I recommend that everybody brings walkie-talkie and have it in channel 5-11. That will make driving a lot easer.
