Hello David,

Are you lumping Gen1 and Gen2 cars in the same pool rather than in their own separate classes? The reason for my question is that when I spoke to Steve "The Greek" Salis this past weekend he informed me he was going to be running with Gen2 Vipers and he drives an ever so slightly modded Gen1 Viper. Right off the bat he has a 40 rear wheel horsepower deficiency Vs a stock Gen2 Viper. Steve and I had a long discussion and for a brief moment he wasn't going to come and run because of this and I told him it's all about having fun and camaraderie. But, in all fairness, it just simply isn't fair to Steve and others IMHO. Maybe I'm a little biased because of my friendship with Steve? Thanks David, it looks as if this event will eclipse all of the action we watched @ VOI7.

Ah heck........who cares about Steve, he don't have 87 turbos hooked together with a twin hot air induction supercharger and 18 intercoolers mounted in tandem and Chuck Yeager at the helm.

Good news is, Steve has borrowed one of my trailers and will be tagging along with the rest of us Central Florida "plain Janes" to this gala occasion celebrating the onslaught of yet another attempted forced air assault on the 9 second zone. Hurry up would ya! Maybe we should have a mobile dyno at the event and crown a "queen"??

I understand what your saying Larry but I wish I was only giving up 50 hp to other cars. I'm upside down 300 plus hp .... I'm just hoping some of that nervous sweat will roll down in their eyes so they can't see the tree

Drop me a line on the cell (352) 216-0070 if you wish to join us. I'm always up for a race, even if it is a tow truck. BTW, Macedo will be pulling with a NEW Hemi from the rumors I hear.

If anyone deserves to be the first forced air guy in the 9s, its roof, I just hope he isn't too ******* with "event staffing opportunities" to get into the action.

My trailer is a 38' gooseneck but my borrowed truck is mostly stock. I love racing trucks and trailers. I know you are up for any kind of a race

I spoke to steve and there was just no way to get it done. Time and Money. I have pushed to limit and I regret it won't happen for him. But Next year, we will have more time and money! I appreciate his participation inspite of the difference.

hehe.....its not unusual at our local outlaw race to bring the duallys out after the fast cars are through. Lots of smoke !!!
