Just a quick note to those that like to browse the forums on their mobile phones but find the graphics are too much to wait for: The viperclub.org forums now have a mobile edition that will load MUCH faster for those on the go! Best of all, you don't need to do anything different - just cruise to the forums on your iPhone, Blackberry, or any other web-enabled mobile device and the software will do the rest.

Our thanks to our crack programmers, this time Mr. Don Boston in particular (BosDev - Web Applications for the Professional Webmaster), for taking care of this on short notice. We asked, he delivered. :2tu:

Is there a way to turn it off? I have a 3G iPhone and prefer viewing the site the regular way. Just logged in on my iPhone, noticed the changes and saw this post. I appreciate all the effort, but the regular site worked great on my phone, just wondering if there's a way to get it back.

I agree with 2001vipergts and would prefer the old format which works beautifully on my iPhone. Please go back to the old way or come up with a workaround or way to turn it off. Thanks.

We went back to the original version for iPhone users as there were others that preferred the graphic-rich environment on those devices. It will not affect other PDA's such as Blackberry, etc. - they will continue to get the faster mobile version of the forums.

Thank you VERY much. I am still getting the stripped down version. I cleared cache and cookies and am still getting the mobile version. How do I get the old format back?
