Hope I redeemed my self after loosing to the stroked Vette lol.

1. I just found i didnt have the updated drivers, so i need to DL divx drivers i suppose.

2. you can never ever ever EVER loose to ANY vette. Ever. You have a Viper, he has a Vette. Need I say anymore?

3. you should take the sad little smiley from your sig. you have a final ed viper, who cares if its modded? :)

(thx for the vids)

Was the white one a real '01 Z06, or an FRC w/ brake ducts?

Having never seen a Gen II Viper vs relatively stock C5s.... it looked GOOD!

The only Viper I have ever lined up with was a 94 RT/10 that a local guy had JUST taken delivery of. All we did was a pair of light-to-light runs on our way up to the Berlin Tpke after a car show, but it was fun. The only reason I beat him was because I hooked while he spun.

Torque - you gotta love it.

white C5 is a FRC with headers, cold air, exaust and 4.10 gears, the blue one had same bolt ons without the gears, and the maroon one had heads/cam with 3.73 gears(auto). the yellow one that spanked me was a 436ci bad moffo lol :ooo:

Great vids Mike! Keep it up - you've posted some great stuff over the past few weeks! :)

How have you fared against '02+ Z06s?

Those videos are great! Always nice to see clear daytime action where we can actually make out the cars. I am not sure how good that 900 rider was as he was sitting straight up on both pulls. But that is not your problem. Nice pulls! Now get your new mod hooked up and do some more. ;)

it did look like the Viper driver was either making errors or shifting very slow. Hard to tell...still a fast vette.

No no, you got it all wrong :) You could run a vette and miss 2nd gear, throw the trans, crash into a McDonalds, and still 'win'. The point is you have a Viper, he has a Vette. You have a rare machine, he may as well have a Honda. :)

Nexus, I've yet to line up with an 02 Z06. When I do I will sure let you guys know.

Tobyt I was having problems with 3rd gear again in a few of the runs  so my 2 to 3 is a slow one.
Btw the only reason that dude in the bike was standing up is because we were too slow for him. I did race him and a modded 750 and got waxed by both of them lol. I did alot more racing and hopefully those videos will up later tonight :D It's funny I did lots of racing with vette and now that I have the Viper everyone wants a piece

Everyone wants to say they pulled a Viper. That is why I do not even what to start doing pulls until I get some real HP (SCer).

Texas has gotten really strict on construction zones. They tend to write more tickets and double the fine. They also don't give you any slack. Didn't imply that you were racing during the construction zone. Just a word of caution from some friends of mine that have gotten ticketed recently. Doesn't matter if they are actually doing construction, just a sign or a barrel is enough for them to nail you.
