ACRs differ from the GTS as follows:

1) BBS wheels
2) Exterior and interior badging
3) Racing springs/shocks
4) 5 point harnesses
5) K&N filters (worth 10 more bhp and 10 more lb.ft. torque)
6) No fog lights (opening may be used for brake cooling)
7) A/C and Radio delete; must be optioned back in. I believe all but 7 out of ~200 1999s had the convenience/luxury option.
8) $10,000 above the GTS price plus about $900 for the convenience option.

The ACR on a road course is like Beethoven's 5th on wheels.

Good Luck .....

GTS Bruce,

Try setting the rebound on the front shocks to full soft and the bump on the rear shocks to full soft. This will help your launch considerably.

The ability to adjust your ride height and shock settings is an awesome performance tool if you take the time to experiment with them. This should give you a meaningful advantage over a stock GTS.

The difference on a road course will be even more measurable when you compare lap times.

Good luck!

GTS Bruce,

Actually it is quite the opposite. The ACR comes set to full soft from the factory. These settings are actually softer than the stock GTS. The ACR launches incredible. As can be seen from my video in my signature. Stock ACR turning 1.898 60', 11.852 1/4 mile at 119.61 on stock tires.
