first I'm a big orange county choppers fan.I got the models and the shirts, etc. So I was going to attend the Snap-on night of thrills and so was Vinnie(one if the builders) and I thought, why not, come up with a bike and see what he says.Heck, maybe I'll get a job. So I came up with this in about 2 days. It's not perfect but it was good enough to the point were he liked how it came out and the overall shape and design.

I wanted a gas tank where it mimics the shape of a GTS.So you flip open the roof and there's the gascap. The rear of the bike has the little 3rd sneaky pete tail light embeded in it and white flamed pin stripes would run down the center of the bike.Of course it would have some sort of RT/10 in that so I added 3 spoke rims with red lines in them and then of course I would want the biggest crate engine built bike engine for it just so that it gives it that strong,I'm-the-baddest-on-the-road-feeling like the stock 500hp viper engines today.

Good Luck!!
Last year when a bunch of us went up with our cars (dont know if you were there) they treated us like red headed step kids.
Sr was kind of nice, Jr was a pompous a$$ and Vinnie was definitely all right! They were, however, quick to open up their T-Shirt stand and collect a boatload of cash from everyone. What a joke. They had a golden opportunity to endear themselves with a large group of local guys who presumable have above average incomes (their ideal demographic I would think). Oh well, thats my rant. Good luck though. I will be checking Discovery channel for GTS-R Choppers! :)

Good drawing, I think the viper bike would need an original viper rear wheel modified for the sprocket and brake. Design of the rear wheel would need that one side open wheel design similar to the Ducati 996. Now the best part, 345 tire on the back to keep that beautiful phat ass. Fender design and tailights would have to keep a similar design to the original viper so the viper theme can be quickly recognized. Great idea, I too thought of the viper chopper theme bike when I first visited Orange County Choppers before they were extremely popular. I proposed and helped coordinate the trip to OCC for the club. I also was very dissapointed the way we were received. No accomodations, no tour, no restrooms. They were told it was going to be fifty plus members attending. Out of the trips I planned last year, that was the most successful in member attendance but the most dissappointing in: Orange County's staff enthusiasm, education about what they do, accomodations, and their lack of interest in what we are about. It seemed like their only interest was the t-shirt trailer sales when we were there. They pull out the fire engine bike go riding through us like we were schoolkids in a playground and then put the bike away. Was is so hard to park the bike and tell us a little about it? Maybe get some shots next to it? Also again they knew we were comming but they were also occupied with the filming for discovery channel that day. When I knew Discovery Channel Film Crew was there, I thought great, there probably is a good chance that the film crew would have been told that 50 vipers were arriving that day. Maybe a minute of footage of us pulling in as a large group in one of the greatest sports cars America ever produced (which you don't see often). We think who wouldn't want to document 80 Vipers comming to your house right? Doesn't take much for a minute of footage of us giving the staff members a ride, or Paul Jr leading a drive with us in his Prowler, a pan shot of all the cars maybe, just something/anything. The film crew was walking right past us back and forth with their cameras. God, the cars all lined up looked great that day, a rare sight. I trully didn't expect for us and or our cars to be on the show(even though it would have been nice), I really expected and wanted everyone to come away with a positive experience learning more about the staff and operations of Orange County Choppers. I am sorry that I ever thought about taking us there. However I think everyone would agree the ride there was awesome.

I bought my Viper from a guy that collects custom bikes. I brought up the OCC subject. He said that they are REAL jerks. He said that Paul Sr. practically begged him to buy a bike in Daytona 5 years ago. He said that no one wanted to deal with them because of their attitude. Then he gets a show and; well, you know the rest. I guess they have what it takes to make the show interesting. (I am getting this information second hand for what thats worth)

I do enjoy watching the show. I can't believe that Discovery Channel missed the golden opportunity of filmimg all of those Vipers. Does the show get sponsored by another car manufacturer? Could have been a corporate decision.
