Would be interesting to see what a modern ACR-X or ACR Xtreme could do, but I'm sure the GTS-R is no slouch. Considering that half the cars that beat it were electric, that's a pretty respectable showing for good old gasoline.

Lol, that seems to be a trend on gen 2 race cars. I think it's back from the old Gran Turismo days when the car was featured (or maybe it ran that at Le Mans?). So it's period advertising for the car I guess. Either way happy to finally see one run the hill in anger. They had a drift Viper there a few years back, but it wasn't running for time. Impressive either way, but not quite the same.

This is GTS-R chassis 41 and it has been restored as it raced at the 2002 24 Hours of Le Mans - hence the period correct PlayStation 2 sponsorship. I was privileged to be at Le Mans with the team last week as the car returned for the first time since its podium finish 20 years ago. The level of authenticity on this particular restoration is unmatched as far as GTS-Rs are concerned.
