Hello Viper Drivers:
Brainerd International Raceway will be our 5th event of the Eastern Region!! We would like to thank ARCHER RACING ACCESSORIES for sponsoring this event. Below you will find the details for theBrainerd event. If this is your first event of the year, please go to www.viperdays.com and fill out the application and Med+Stats forms online. If nothing has changed in your medical history please fill in your name and age and press send. Once you have filled them out press send. Once I receive them I will e-mail you back a confirmation! DRAG RACING:
For those people that are interested there will be drag racing both Fri and Sat night from 6-8pm. The cost for it is $75 for 1 day and $100 for 2 days. There will be 3 classes and trophies awarded. You can sign up with Courtney at [email protected] or call at 847-612-4335
TIRE UPDATE:
The new DOT tire the "Michelin Pilot Sport Cup” will be available in adequate quantities for the Mid-America event. With that said the Michelin Challenge Series will be on Michelin Tires exclusively. The Michelin Sport Cup tires to be run in the Super Mod and Unlimited classes. Please order your Sport Cup or street tires from Bobby Archer. 800-696-0264 ALL TIRE ORDERS MUST BE RECEIVED BY WEDNESDAY AUGUST 13TH BY 6PM 800-696-0264 OR YOU WILL NOT HAVE ANY TIRES FOR THE EVENT!!
TRACKSIDE SERVICE:
Archer Racing Accessories will be on hand to do full trackside service and repair from alignments to performance modifications and safety improvement. We will also have a great display of other viper memorabilia and accessories. Please call John for your car’s appointment. 218-727-4806.
DYNO SERVICE AVAILABLE:
There will be a dyno at the track doing pulls starting at Noon on Friday and going all weekend. $75 for 3 pulls. For more information please call John Archer at 218-727-4806
GATE:
Brainerd will be charging a gate fee of $10 for the entire weekend for ALL drivers and pit crews. All other spectators will have to pay $10/Day. They are planning for this to be a big spectator weekend!
TRAILER/RIG PARKING:
Thursday set-up is allowed!! Thursday from 7am-7pm and Friday from 7am- until Sun 7pm. 24 hour security will be the entire weekend due to overnight camping.
GARAGE SPACE: 30 Garage spaces are available to rent for the entire weekend for $75/space. Call Courtney Thomas to reserve your garage space 847-612-4335 or e mail me at [email protected]
CAMPERS/MOTORCOACHES
IS ALLOWED! Full hook-ups are available (50amp power, water and sewer) for $25/site/day plus a fee of $5/person/day on top of the full hook up fee. You pay the track direct! Or you can camp with tents for $5person//day. The track does have showers at the track that you can use. You can make a reservation if you would like, not required 218-824-7600
GATE HOURS:
Friday 7am-Sun 7pm. 24 hour security is at the track.
SAT PM DINNER:
Will be at the track in the Top Fuel Club! The dinner that night will be a buffet so no food choice is necessary!
TRACK LOCATION:
BIR is located Northwest of the town of Brainerd On route 371, 5.3 miles North of Route 210 on the east side of the road. Turn right at the Amoco Station by the main entrance. Enter thru the main gate, sign the waiver then turn left and follow the road around to the paddock.

FRIDAY TEST & TUNE: A test and tune day is available! Friday will be open for “advanced drivers” for a test and tune day. No rookies are allowed. 8:30am-5:30pm we will be running 2 run groups all day!! $250 full day with lunch and $175 for half day no lunch 1-5pm. Call Courtney for approval.

SATURDAY: If arriving on Saturday morning, be at the track by 7:00AM for registration and tech inspection. Drive arounds will occur at 7:15am MANDATORY drivers meeting at 7:45. The track will go hot at 8:30. Classroom instruction begins at 8:30 AM, Cash bar begins at 6pm Dinner at 6:30pm at the track
SUNDAY: Be at the track by 7:00 AM. Driver meeting at 8:15 the track will go hot at 8:30.

Driver's Suit (2 layer min), Nomex Gloves, Neck Restraint required for Unlimited, Comp Coupe Unlimited classes.
Neck Restraint highly recommended for all classes.
RT/10's must have a roll bar or hardtop.

Fire extinguisher required for Unlimited Class
5 or 6 point harnesses mandatory for SRT/10's.
